Overview: The Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire-44 (OBQ-44) looks at beliefs that may help develop and maintain obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). This list of beliefs and the measure were both created by the Obsessive Compulsive Cognitions Working Group.

Scoring and interpretation: Answers are scored on a 7-point Likert scale from 1 for "Disagree very much" to 7 for "Agree very much." Scores are summed and total scores range from 44 to 308. Higher scores suggest more severe OCD symptoms and associated beliefs.
