Transfer a Client to a Different User

How to transfer a Client from one clinician to another.

Permissions

✅ Clinician: Can access and transfer their own Clients.

✅ Supervisor: Can access and transfer any Client.

Biller: Billing roles alone do not have access any Client profiles.

✅ Admin: Can access and transfer any Client.


How to Transfer a Client to a different User

  1. Navigate to the Clients page within your Blueprint account

  2. Find the Client you wish to transfer and open their profile

  3. Click their blue Actions button towards upper-right the Client Summary

  4. Select Transfer Client

  5. Choose the User you'd like to transfer the Client to

  6. Click Confirm


Other Notes

  • If you are deleting a User and need to transfer all of their Clients to another User at once, check out this article on how to do so: Delete a User

  • Upon transfer, the Client will be unassigned from all currently assigned Users. To share access to a Client's profile with another User, you can assign additional Users instead of transferring completely. More info here: Assign Multiple Clinicians to a Client

  • Whoever the Client is transferred to becomes the Client's "Primary Clinician", which is who their Satisfaction With Care (CARE) survey responses are recorded under in the Client Satisfaction report.
