Using the "Send Now" Action as an Assessment Reminder for your Client

An overview of the "Send Now" action and how you can use it to immediately send Assessments to your client.

The Send Now action enable Clinicians to immediately send Assessments in a one-off fashion to Clients (or their Participants) outside of the Client's scheduled Assessments.


Permissions

Who can use the Send Now action?

✅ Clinician: Can use Send Now for their own Clients.

✅ Supervisor: Can use Send Now for any Client.

Biller: Billing roles alone do not have access any Client profiles.

✅ Admin: Can use Send Now for any Client.


Overview

The Send Now action immediately sends the Client or Participant an email/text notification requesting that they complete their assigned Assessment(s).

The email/text contains a "magic link" to the Assessment(s) which does not require them to log into Blueprint.

💡 Send Now is great for...

  • Acting as a reminder to complete Assessments before an upcoming appointment.

  • After a new Assessment has been assigned and the Clinician would like the Client or Participant to complete it immediately (Newly assigned Assessments do not send immediately upon being assigned. Instead they go out on the Client's Next Assessment Date.)


How to use the Send Now action to send Assessments to Clients or Participants

  1. From the Client's profile, navigate to the Assessments tab (or click Manage from the Client's profile header)

  2. Select at least one Assessment you'd like to send

  3. Once an Assessment is selected, the Assessment Actions Toolbar will appear near the bottom of the page

  4. Click Send Now

FAQ

  1. Q. If I use Send Now, how is the notification delivered to the Client or Participant -- text, email, push?

    A. The notification will be sent according to the Client's notification preferences, which you can view on their profile in the Clients & Participants tab.

  2. Q. Will Assessments that are sent via Send Now alter the existing Assessment Frequency for this Client?

    A. No, Assessments that were sent via Send Now will not alter the current Assessment Frequency.

    Even if your Client completes the Assessment that was sent to them via Send Now, it will not adjust the Next Assessment Date or satisfy the "dueness" of Assessments that have already been sent as part of the client's scheduled administrations.

    Send Now essentially acts as a one-off Assessment, completely separate from the Client's regular scheduled Assessment delivery.
