Overview: The Comprehensive Assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Processes (CompACT) looks at psychological flexibility, a term derived from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). It looks at things like openness to new experiences, awareness of behaviors, and actions that arise from one's values. It is useful for tracking psychological flexibility over time.

Scoring and interpretation: Answers are scored on a 5-point Likert scale from 0 to 4 with 0 for "Strongly disagree" to 4 for "Strongly agree." Some questions are reverse scored including 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, and 19. Scores are summed and total scores range from 0 to 92. Higher scores are associated with higher levels of psychological flexibility.
In addition, there are three subscales:
Openness to Experience: 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, and 22
Behavioural Awareness: 3, 9, 12, 16, and 19
Valued Action: 1, 5, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, and 23
Scores from these subscales are averaged.
