Brief Description
The DSM-5 Level 2 Anger, Child measure is an assessment of anger in children. It is a self-report measure that asks the child to rate their experience of anger, focusing on the internal perceptions and feelings of anger. It is often used both as an initial screening tool for assessing the presence of anger and related challenges in youth, as well as for measuring outcomes across the course of care. Respondents rate how often they experience the anger symptoms listed over the past 7 days (e.g., “I felt mad.”) on a scale from “Never” to “Almost Always.”
